Never been here before, but a good introduction to this venue courtasey of Yudee. First up there was no stage so you were standing right in front of the band which was really cool, but I will go into that more later.

This is the 4th time seeing my favourite Hip Hop Trio, and for my money, the best.

Before the Yudee boys did there thang, we were treated to fellow Long Beach hip-hoppers Halfwayhouse Emcees and as I have come to expect from a Yudee show, the support were shit hot at warming up the crowd. During the gig, Dizzy from Yudee was supplying the crowd with drinks, how feckin cool is that man, what a guy!!!

When Andy, Dizz and Einstien took the stage, Andy provlaim that the night was a “house Party” which it pretty much was, I was standing right in front of the guys, got to shout down the Mic a few times and got to jumo around with Dizz for a bit. Excellent excellent show.

The guys put the same effort into big shows as the do with small shows. During pass the Mic the were litteraly throwing the Mic to each other inbetween versus. The got a wee cutie pie up on stage for “Pick Up Lines” and a member of the audience up on stage to do a bit of Freestyling during “Shoot Your Shot” (Campbell tried to get me to do it, but I have difficulty rapping christmas gifts, never mind lyrics!!). There were even a few tracks that I hadn’t heard live before like “Opening Act” and “Welcome to Meatshake”.

The vibe between the crowd and the band was awesome, was just a fantastic night, they will never be a stadium band but thank Feck for that!!!
