As some of you may recall, Mr Ben put a post up for Mr Le Sac and Mr Scroobius Pip some time ago with their song “Thou Shall Always Kill”. Kind of poetry to accompany electronic music.

Anyway I am getting off point, the Skivster kindly bought me a ticket and treated me to a night out with him driving giving me a night off….. FANTASTIC.

The performance was good (although the dreaded curse of Tuts band sound did come in to play sometimes making it difficult to hear the lyrics). “Thou Shall Always Kill” was played halfway through the set to which the band commented rather tongue in cheek that we should all go home coz they played the song that we all wanted to hear!

That was not true, I was waiting for a song called “Angles” which I think is a very very clever track lyric wise, which then got played a couple of tracks later.

You wonder how entertaining a bearded man and his power-book wielding colleague could be, but Le Sac and Scroobius kept us entertained for the night!
