Bloody Weather
So my gig season was coming to an end as I was sooooo hyped up cause the last gig was going to be Michael Franti and Spearhead. I was looking forward to it that much that I had taken today off so that I could have a few beers, relax and enjoy the night without having to worry about getting up for work in the morning.
Al phoned me about six.
“Have you heard the news?” he said.
“What news?” I replied.
“I just got a phone call from the Arches, tonights gig is postponed?” he informed me.
“Yeah, good one mate, nice try and i can see through your joke” i chuckled back to him
“No joke, they can’t get a flight from Dublin cause of the weather!!!”
“DOH!!!!!” I said as the feeling of being gutted washed over me.
So no Franti, no jumping about like an idiot to great music. Still, at least I got to lie in today

Well it’s tuesday morning it officially isn’t raining! Hurrah! 15 days of continuous howling of wind, horizontal rain and this morning i got up for work at 6.10am to find that the rain had stopped. It is now 11.02 and it’s STILL OFF!! I’m getting rather happy and excited due to the dryness….is that sad?!?!?!

Oh also meant to say that I’m gutted that your gig didn’t go ahead. Let me know when it’s re-schedualed to and I may make an appearnce depending on work! Hurrah!
