Guy recentley bought a 60g iPod and has been filling it with his extensive CD collection. It has given me a chance to listen to music that i haven’t heard in a dogs age. But currently there is one album that I cannot stop listening to, and it is not an old one.

Sigur Ros are a band that I got into after scoring free tickets to go see them at the Barras a few years back. My mates Enzo and Ajay were huge fans but could not make the gig, so instead they graceously gave me the tix. Every since then i was hooked. This band are for want of a better word…. Magnificent. They are icelanic, do not sing in english, but please do not let that diswade you. This bad didn’t even name their second album or any of the tracks on it, how cool is that??

There lastest long player Takk is musical enlightenment. I don’t care what your music taste is, you should at least try and give this record a listen. You may have heard the track “Hoppipolla” from the BBC “Planet Earth” TV series. I appreciate that everyone in the moose and readers of the moose have unique music tastes, but I recommend Takk to everyone, buy it and let some musical beauty into your life!!!!
