“It not what you think” Skivi told me when I said that I was going to watch Clint Eastwoods Academy Award winning movie. Which is true cause I really knew nothing about this flick other than they spoofed it in the appaling “Scary Movie 4″ (I refuse to put a link to that flick cause it really really sucked!), but the impression that I got from the cover, clips ect that I saw for Million Dollar Baby was that Clint teaches a girl to box and she goes on to become the champion of the universe.

Now I will admit that boxing does feature quite a bit in this flick, but it is about sooooooooooo much more. Excellent perfomances from Eastwood (naturally), Hilary Swank and good ol’ Morgan Freeman. This is definatley not a throw away, light hearted movie that you can put on in the background whilst you entertain some family/friends as it is quite an emotinal ride, but if you have a spare 127 minutes (approx) then there are worst things to use it for than sitting and watching this well made flim.

Its in most dvd sales at the mo, and is well worth it!!!!!!!
