The Hills Have Eyes
The lucky ones die first.
Have you noticed that over the past few years we have been getting lots of re-makes from the ol’ US? Normally that would be a reciepe for disaster, but every so often they get a re-make right (Dawn of the Dead for example). This re-make is every way as good as Wes Craven’s original.
As I said definatley not one for the squeemish. This film has you feeling quite tense through out with its grimey look, atomospheric music, and creepy sound effects. The are many bits to gross you out as well (especially the mutants!!)
Probably about as far from a chick flick as you can get, but for thoses of us who like a good scare every now and again, this is one to see on the big screen.
Remember when I said that Wolf Creek was the kind of movie you could only watch if you had the stomach for it??
Well if you don’t think you could watch that, then stay well away from “The Hills Have Eyes”.
