Land of the dead
The Legendary Filmmaker Brings You His Ultimate Zombie Masterpiece
Yes George is back, bringing you the continuation of the Horror genre that he invented. Firstly if you have not seen Night of The Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead you can still see Land of the Dead as it is not a continuos story line, but at the same time, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THOSE OTHER CLASSIC MOVIES, SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!
My mate Gary was lucky enough to go see an advance preview of this movie last month that George himself showed up at. Without ruining the storyline for me, he told me (Gary not George, although that would have been cool) that the Movie is about the evolution of Zombies, which has been apparent through out the other 3 films. After watching the movie and seeing the other 3, that really makes sense!
There is plenty of gore and splatter that you would expect to see in a Zombie flick , in fact I really think we have pushed the boundaries on a 15 certificate on this one!!!!
A few cool Zombie cameos in it from Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, the geniuses behind the TV series Spaced (a personal favorite of Guy Incognito) and last years British movie, Shaun of the Dead which apparently George was a big fan of! Also Tom Suvini, dubbed the “The Godfather of Gore” from his brilliant Gore/Makeup work in his movies. You might also recognise him in From Dusk Till Dawn.
I will be honest, it does not take alot of brain power to watch this flick, and it won’t be up for any Academy awards or anything, it’s hardly the most complex story line ever made, but that does not mean its a bad movie. It is excellent for the genre that was made for. Well worth your money if you like a bit of gore in your films ![]()

Dr Logan would be proud, if he weren’t riddled with bullets. Should see it this weekend if all goes well.
