The Dukes of Hazzard

Ok I know that I said that I am trying to see the best movies ever made, let me assure you that The Dukes is not one of those movies.
But in saying that I didn’t think it was as bad as everyone is making out.
For his birthday Ajay, myself, Robin, BigAl, Marc and Enzo all took a trip along to the UGC to see a movie, we picked the Dukes of Hazzard and as I said, not the greatest movie ever made, but then again, far from the worst as well.
To enjoy this movie taking the following steps….
1) When entering the cinema make sure your brain is in neutral and ready to suspend disbelief.
2) Please remember that the TV series was made over 20 years ago, and mankind has advanced (slightly) since that period of time, politcal views have changed so there is no chance that this movie will be a direct lift of the TV series.
3) Remember its only a movie!!!!!!
Yeah man, I had no pre-conceptions about The Dukes, I was not expecting much, but Knoxville and Scott kept me entertained by bringing there own brand of craziness to everybodys favorite Redneck cousins. Ok there was Jessica Simpson as Daisy, but thankfully they did not give her to many lines and just stuck her in tight short and low cut tope to try and make up for her lack of talent, sadly it didn’t really work, she just didn’t look like a “Daisy Duke” to me and just bugged the hell out of me no matter how many “revealing” costumes they put her in. Burt Reynolds was ok in it as well but nothing to write home about.
Even if you are dead set against going to the pics to see this, it’s worth a DVD rental at least.
