Guy Incognito took part in the HASSRA music quiz tonight together with his team mates Willie and Jim and Captain Chris Mcardle.

Despite our Captain’s doubts about our performance we managed to finish second.

We started of very well in the first round but quickly realised who our main competition was, THE TEAM FROM MOTHERWELL!!!!
These guys must either spend all year swotting up in preperation for this yearly event, or attend a pub quiz every night of the year and are professionals. Their performance was exceptional, so no sour grapes from us as they only got about 3 questions wrong the whole night!

The battle for second place was fought between us and the team from Dundee. Guy Incognito made some fatal errors when he could not guess the photo of the band ‘The Killers’, Chris failed to acknowlege an answer from Jim concerning a Paul Hardcastle song and Jim misidentified a picture of Frank Sinatra. Still, by the end of it the £80 worth of M&S vouchers were ours!!

Chris was threatening to leave us in Perth (where the quiz took place) and drive home himself if our performance was dire, so by the fact I am writing this from GI HQ, I guess he was genuinely pleased with the result.

We were a good team and will (hopefully) be back again next, pity our team Captain listens to crap like Suede and The Tears (had to be said Chris!)
