Dr Strangelove
I saw this movie for the first time last night after my mate Dizzy Roscal gave me a loan of it. (Gasp!) I here you say, Guy, you haven’t seen a movie as great as that before! Well sadley yes, but I have now rectified that.
If you ask me any movie that has the line “there will be no fighting in the war room”, is just itching to be a comedy classic. Of course I have seen the famous scene with the guy from Blazing Saddels riding the bomb parodied many a time, but its still funny when you see it.
The best bit though is Peter Sellers (in one of his many roles in this movie) playing the President of the USA talking to the Russian President about how sorry there were in the fact that they had launched an accidental attack on Russia, it’s quite surreal. But there are lots more moments in the film that I could spend all day talking about, but I won’t.
You want to start loving the bomb?
See this movie

Ahh Mrbenn, glad to see one of the main Moosers posting on my insignificant little site, cheers.
Watching Doc Strangelove is a worthwhile hour and a half, I am sure Al must have a copy of it, and I am also glad to know that i am not the only one to never have seen it!!!!

The finest piece of satire ever written and a must see for any true film fan.
